I did post this in the supporter party forums but I need more people to know. not because I'm a fan nor because I'm paid, I just find this so funny.

McDonald's is making manga comics and animations, even their bags are anime themed

obviously, it's supposed to play into the joke that anime just flips the M logo upside down to avoid.....getting sued???

I never understood that. wouldn't a company be glad that they put their logo on a well liked anime? its free advertising, is it not?

but let's say that they don't do it to prevent getting sued but rather to prevent said free advertising. the M logo has been shown to be one of, if not, the most recognized logos in the ENTIRE world. even Russia and China, who are notorious for their tough markets and usual skepticism of American brands have McDonalds.

I just don't understand how flipping the logo will make anyone be like "oh I have zero clue what this fast food restaurant is supposed to be". Its such a simple, yet Iconic logo, that no amount of flipping or color changing will prevent recognition.

anyways, they are clearly targeting the weeaboo demographic with this. they even have a new sauce too

by the way, the sauce is ASS, it's worse than ass. at least I'm still excited to eat ass, but this is just foul. It tastes so bad and IDK how. their sauces are usually pretty good and sweet chili sauce is a staple in Americanized Chinese food. I have never seen anyone fuck up a simple sweet chili sauce so badly. like it wasn't a good fuck up, this was a hate fuck. A fuck that people in failing relationships have just to have sex, not to actually enjoy.

that aside, it happens so much, in anime that it's considered a cliché at this point

recently, McDondals has been really targeting the Otaku community with it's other endeavors, some of which have had the internet treatment and have had R34 of their characters. *cough* *cough* derpixon

they even made short animation for this promotion

this one was a surprise for me since I don't often eat at Mcdonalds but some are 24/7 so they're great for a 3am Krabby patty

in the bag, it promises a new 20 ish page promotional manga every week

Am I now going to go to McDonalds every week for a month just to get their new manga comics???
