it's been a rough month and as the month is nearing the end, more and more deadlines are eminent. i've also been having a lot of issues with my job and my school.

i've always had trouble with procrastinating and its even more evident since im writing this instead of working on the things i SHOULD be working on.

little disclaimer, this might not be cohesive bc my though process is not very linear

ive been staying up extremely late at night and also waking up really early so that i can make the weird projects like the font or the animations or whatever because i love making things, creating new things learning new mediums and all that shiz but its been getting harder and harder and keep getting less and less sleep. all of this has been really affecting my quality of life and has me feeling very unhappy with my life. i love making things like pixelart and all of that but then right afterwards i feel miserable

someday i hope to be able to make a living making stuff. i really dont want to be unhappy

i've always have had a lot of trouble sticking to one thing for a while because i love making all sort of things. for example. i LOVE coding , honestly a lot of fun but i havent coded anything in like a year because ive been having a blast exploring pixel art and writing. IK that i am a good maker because iv'e made so many god things that im genuinely proud of. my issue is that i have yet to find a place (beside extremly late at night) where i can truly shine. i feel like i have in me to make sothing great but im afraid not not live to my true potential, and right now, that's exactly how i feel like

i've dreamt for a while of me being able to support myself by making like a patreon or smthg where people just watch whatever i make. like i could make a pixel art collage one month and then next moth i would be showing off some music , the next month would be a webgame and so on and in return for allowing me to make whatever the hell i wanted i would release everything to the free domain so that anyone could use it. i do wonder how many people read these, sometimes i feel like im just talking to myself, it isnt a bad thing, i talk to myself all the time plus i do these more as my own remainders but i just wish that it showed me more info about how people are interacting.

i think i might have some form of ADHD/ADD, i need to get that check out

im working on some physical art and some videos. i havent been feeling very motivated tho so haven't edited anything fully. i might finish my hanko stamp video soon

i also recorded a tutorial for a rubberband ball. and im going to try my hand at thubnail art so that i could hopefully atract more pople

sometimes i just stroll through art supply stores looking for some art thing to possible do. something that i've wanted to is pain on one of those really big canvas, i think i found some thing i want to do, i want to do [redacted], i think that'd be neat

i meesed up my first try, understandably so, so im going to get more carpenter's pencils because im trying my had at pencil carving, ive done it in the past, ive carved pencilception which i was really proud of but when i was feeling down one night i broke it and threw it away. ive been getting better in not destroying my art projects when i get really down but it happens from time to time.

there is also another art project that i finished like 2 months ago, that im really proud of but i haven't uploaded for some reason.

ive also been trying and somewhat succeeding in starting projects and actually finishing them because ive always been made to feel bad for starting art projects and not finishing them.

any(many) ways, im still trying to work hard so that hopefully one day, i'll truly be happy with who i am and hopefully ya'll enjoy what i do if only even for just a fraction of how much i enjoy making it

so, i finished my tetris animation and whe i did, was taken down. i checked it out to it just being blamed which it very well could be so at the end of these updates im going to the description of it since i think it is intresting and spent a lot of time writing any(many)ways. it turns out it was removed by a [REDACTED] because they thought it was straight up gameplay lol. i find it funny and kinda encouraging ? it means i did such a good job with the animation that i was confused for the real thing.

in other news, i wrote a short (400 word) meme story. i dont think NG is the best place to host it since it doesnt really have a section for it (to my knowledge) so i made a wattpad account and posted it there, youre welcome to read it here

im want to get my site up and running so i can host ALL my stuff there and i wont have to worry about geting it removed, a site going down, site nor really having a section for it, or ads . the reason why i stopped working on it is because i encountered a CORS error(if enyone knows anything about that DM me) and i fount it so complex that i just stopped. i do want to see it complete, i think yall will like, an if yall dont then at least i will

rn im working on the font but its taking a while to find a good FREE font making thing.

ive put the aztec calendar, the cards, and the mexican bingo to the side for now, I DO want to complete it but i want to maybe work on other things for a little bit,idk tho, im really liking pixel art

ok so, idk why i keep doing this to myslef(well i do kinda)

i go above and beyond what i plan a lot of the time. with the flag thing, it was just going to be the recognize sovreign nations but then it turned into like 50 more flags bc i included dependent territories, then i had to re-arrange them so it looks better, then i had to make a key and then the 2 letter codes. it was supposed to be an easy project

now i have 2 projects that are both tedious and time consuming

1 i finished animating the tetris thing i was working on, it is a bit of a sloppy ending but if i animated it how i actually played tetris, it would take forever B) joking aside, it was getting too long. but it had no sound, i couldnt have that so i tracked the soundtrack which thankfully the music falls into public domain and i found a chiptune version that sounds pretty similar, get this, WITH creative commons. god i love the internet so much(most of the times). BUT THEN i had to go ahead and add all the bleep bloops from when a piece moves which is taking FOREVER, especially since my computer is kinda slow.

2 I HAVE A NEW PROJECT

yep another one, on top of the 3 that im working on(granted one is pretty much done)

im making a FONT, pixelart font tho. again, supposed to be easy, just make the alphabet and numbers and post it. BUT THEN i had to go ahead and add lowercase AND a bunch of symbols like parenthesis, math symbols, money signs,etc. i though after i do this i'll just post it, easy. BUT THEN i had to go ahead and want to see it be used when i code so now i have to make each one a vector image and make my own ttf font file so that i could actually just type with it . there is 113 files that i have to enlarge, trace paths , and combine together.

good news is that once im finished and post it, you'll be able to download it and use it HOWEVER YOU WANT no need to credit me, no need to ask for permission, you can use it on your projects, on a shirt, mug, whatever . i will leave it on a tip jar if you have any spare farthings, halfpennies, threepences, shillings, and/or sovereigns you're willing to toss me .

as much as it hurts me to give it away for free after all the work, the though if it being used by a lot of people makes me happy

i also have other video ideas in the making im just waiting for my mic to arrive so that hopefully my sound quality isnt absolute garbage

soooo, i keep making more projects than i should, somewhat good reasoning tho.

the loteria cards are probably the least in my list since they usually have pretty complicated art and the pixel art that im making is the opposite of that.

a little insight into my creative process, when i start something, i think about what is the smallest thing i want to bee seen more or less clearly with the least amount of pixels and then based the rest after those limitations and its really hard to tell with loteria. im still a noob with pixel art and im trying to figure out how to do freehand and choosing the details that are the most prominent so that i can make stuff that is small yet readable

right now i have 2 project including an animation

i am doing a tetris animation where each block in the tetrimino is a single pixel. there's a next piece slot and the amont of lines cleared. this project is to practice readability with both letters and numbers. so far so good but its time consuming

the other i think bigger project is a flag collage. im going to make pixel art of all 201 sovereign countries and partially recognized countries plus some of the de facto sovereign countries totaling to about 207 countries i have 24 so far so about a tenth of a way in. not bad

anyways. im hoping to finish the flags hopefully by the end of the week and the tetris animation maybe next week since i want to hopefully showoff the numbers that i made for this animation

Right now im working on 2.75 big projects.

1 the Aztec calendar. im doing the full thing but im running into some trouble when it comes to slightly rotated pieces which are hard to get looking right its also a lot of unique little parts which makes it more time consuming. here's a wip

2 loteria cards i made a joke one here but there is 54 unique characters that dont repeat and right now I've only finished the outline, and i am working in a small but readable font for the cards MWQ have been giving me the most trouble

3 a full 54 deck of cards. now this one is special because im giving yall the ability to use it in your own projects free of charge and also you can use it in a project that makes money (as long as you're not just printing it ) same will apply with the loteria cards BUT the thing is that i already finished the deck of cards. right now what's causing me trouble is the finial details to make sure that everything look even and not out of place and that everything is lined up. the diffucal part is that i used pixilart for this which is a GREAT editor and FREE but i have to open a lot of tabs to export it proprly wihc is causing me some organizational issues

that's what im up to, please dont ask me why i keep taking on HUGE project like this, its a problem, especially since im going to have A LOT less free time
